29 places across Sukhumvit, Phrom Phong and Nana.
Sukhumvit in Bangkok takes in three neighbourhoods: Sukhumvit itself, Phrom Phong and Nana. Four rail stops serve them. The BTS runs through Asok, Nana and Phrom Phong, and the MRT stops at Sukhumvit. Nineteen restaurants, eight bars and two clubs sit inside that span.
Seven restaurants sit at the top of the price range. Gaggan Anand is one, running courses named Yoghurt Explosion and Lick It Up. Two of the five just below them are Indian. Korean barbecue, a Japanese cafe and a sushi counter make up the three restaurants in Phrom Phong, Bangkok. The counter is Sushi Seki: toro nigiri, an omakase set. Only one Thai kitchen here is priced below the rest: Cabbages & Condoms, green curry and deep-fried fish with chilli sauce.
Sato San Rooftop Bar mixes a mango sticky rice cocktail and puts out Thai-Isaan and Japanese sharing plates. It is one of five rooftops among eight bars. Abandoned Mansion is a themed cocktail bar instead, its drinks carrying names like Al Capone and Kathryn Kelly. Clubs are scarce. Lucy Club Bangkok plays hip hop in Nana, one of two.
