13 places across Thonglor.
Thonglor drinks more than it eats. Plan a night out in Bangkok and the thirteen places listed here split eight bars to four restaurants, plus a single club lounge, which is drinking over dining by two to one. BTS Thong Lo is the station serving them.
Rooftops account for three of the eight bars. Cul de Sac works an 80s-inspired cocktail menu that includes something called the Earthquake, while Rhodes Bangkok pours Evil Eyes and Deer Spirits. One wine bar, two live music bars. Weekend Thonglor runs DJ nights and live bands out of a speakeasy, and rates a straight 5.0.
Four kitchens, pulling in different directions. La Dotta turns out Italian pasta, tagliatelle al ragu and tortellini in brodo, and Supanniga Eating Room cooks Eastern and Isaan Thai, river prawn pad cha through to massaman neua. Both sit in the upper price band, as does the Japanese izakaya, so restaurants in Thonglor, Bangkok skew expensive. Err Urban Rustic Thai is the exception, a mid-range Thai kitchen doing crispy pork belly with chilli dip, moo satay, and a Thai iced tea cocktail.
